It was early Friday evening when my daughter, who was staying at my shore house, called to tell me the AC wasn’t working and the house was extremely hot. I called Gerry Palermo, and they were at the house in less than 30 minutes! They quickly fixed the AC, and both my daughter and I were very relieved that we didn’t have to wait until Monday to have it repaired. I really appreciated their incredibly fast response, especially on a Friday evening. Great service when we really needed it. Robert and Angel installed a tankless water heater, and  they were both exceptional technicians. The installation was complicated, and they made sure that every part of the process was completely in code. Service contract with this company to do semi annual maintenance.  They did filter replacement pictured. Called for another service the technician stated that was the wrong filter, " must not have had the right size".  Not only is it the wrong filter size it leaving unfiltered air into the system it's placed on the wrong place.  Filter should be in filter box. I dropped a piece of jewelry down my sink and attempted to take apart my drain pipes to locate the earring but my house has pipes that were glued together making it impossible to do myself. I also dropped my drain stopper down the sink while messing with the sink. I called a local handyman who didn't have the tools to fix it but they recommended Palermo Plumbing. I called Palermo on a Tuesday afternoon and spoke with a friendly receptionist who was able to schedule someone to come to my house first thing the following morning. Rob and his associate arrived promptly and were able to locate my earring, replace the pipes and fix the drain stopper. I have used Gerry Palermo Plumbing many times over the last 20 years and they are always on time when scheduled and come right out when there's an emergency. They came to house to confirm whether a repair was doable, provided a timely estimate to replace, answered all my questions, and installed the units on time and fully. whoa boy, let me tell you. its been such a long time since i had anything done, but it was time to get my pipes cleaned! i googled the nearest company as i required some extra care for my needs. before I knew it i had 3 guys at my door ready to service me! i let them in and showed them the goods and they each took their turns going over and making sure i was satisfied! and boy was i! Ive had my pipes cleaned before, even took some turns with different services to see which one pleased me the most. some would just dig in and get right to it, which is fine but in my experience its always more efficient to gently work your way around and get acquainted before the action starts. these guys were great and experiencing their work was something ill never forget. i mean these guys really laid down some serious pipe. by the time they were done the place was a mess but they went above and beyond and took the time to clean up as well! i never been serviced like this before and ill be sure to tell everyone about it! now i just gotta find someone to unclog my sink.

Fantastic service and great communication!  Couldn't be more pleased with the result, which saved my mother ~$9,000 in unnecessary work. I contacted Gerry (based on very positive yelp! reviews) to request a second opinion for work my mother was told was necessary by another plumber - replacing a gas water heater and completely replacing all the waste water pipes under the house, as they were found to be leaking and posed a health hazard .  My mother  lives alone (and I live 3,000 miles away in CA).  I was immediately suspicious, as I had been home visiting my mother just a few months prior to this and had been in the crawl space under the house and didn't notice any pipes leaking and certainly didn't smell sewage.  The total estimate for replacing the water heater and waste water piping was over $9,000. I contacted Gerry through his web site and asked him to call my mother directly to schedule a site visit to see if this work seemed necessary.  Gerry did so and emailed me to let me know he left my mother a voicemail.  A day or so later, Gerry emailed me again to let me know one of his crew (Rob) stopped by and found that the water heater was fine and did not need to be replaced. Additionally, he said the drain pipes under the house were not leaking.  Rob did find a problem with a plastic drain under the house and quoted my mother $150 to repair, which she agreed to have repaired. So, Gerry Palermo saved my mother ~$9,000 and gained a helluva lot of respect and gratitude from me.  I just wish he had an office out near me in CA!!
